I am writing a second time to express my appreciation for the services rendered on my behalf by Agent, Armando Rios. In the latter part of 2004, Mr. Rios contacted me about my plans for a three-unit apartment I owned in Los Angeles. Since the apartment was paid for and had ceased to produce write-offs, I had thought about upgrading, but, had taken no steps to seek advice or help. Then, out of the blue, Mr. Rios shows up at my door, in Inglewood, inquiring about my intentions for the property in Los Angeles.  Mr. Rios quoted possible property value numbers for the apartment, that he acquired from his homework, I'm sure, that shocked me, and in January, 2005, using the 1031 program, the apartment was upgraded to a six-unit apartment in Inglewood. Then, toward the latter par of 2006, my wife and I decided to relocate. We are both retired and I am an avid golfer; so, I convinced her to relocate in the Palm Springs area. We decided to sell, both, our home in Inglewood and the apartment in Inglewood. Mr Rios took on both tasks, along with the help of Mr. Roman Meza, who joined the Rios team, at this point, and was just as professional and sensitive to our desires as Mr. Rios. The home was sold in April, 2007, just before the real estate market crashed and I was very happy with the selling price, which enabled us to purchase our dream home in Indio, CA. The apartment took a little longer; but, it was just sold in March, 2008, at a profit. Working with Mr. Rios the last three years has been a joy and an educational experience for, both my wife and me. If, I had met Mr. Rios when I was younger, I am sure we could have done great things together. I commend Mr. Rios and Mr. Meza for their professionalism and their sensitivity toward our desires and needs. My wife and I consider Mr. Rios and Mr. Meza our lifelong friends.
